Junk Journaling known by a variety of different names including Art Journaling, Scrapbooking, Mixed media journaling etc.
The idea is to use items from your own life, your old sentimental bits, the current things that are going on and new creations in a book to record, to create, to explore and to just enjoy. Frequently rubbish is upcycled to varied degrees, because why not?
Use and develop your current skills and challenge yourself to learn new skills related to paper craft(stamping, paper dying etc), sewing, book binding; whilst also looking at objects and skills in new ways.
Each journal is unique, and each will be a treasure.
No previous art experience required. You can machine sew your book cover, hand sew it, or not sew it at all if you prefer.
Junk Journaling is an exciting new workshop brought to you in collaboration between Jen at Artisan Stitch introducing guest tutor, Belinda Bacon.
